HALO® C30 - Alternative selectivity for hydrophobic substances

Isomer separations: applications such as Lipids, Steroids, Carotenoids and Vitamins

Properties of the HALO® C30

  • excellent shape-selectivity for long chained, hydrophobic, structurally similar compounds
  • excellent reproducibility
  • compatible with 100 % aqueous mobile phase

Tocopherols is a form of vitamin E and an antioxidant. It consists of a chroman ring and an isoprenoid side chain. Due to the good "shape selectivity" of the HALO® C30 phase, a good baseline separation is achieved compared to the C18 phase. C30 compared to a C18 due to the shape selectivity property of the phase.
