In the coming months, the polypropylene caps which come with our Storage Vials will be replaced by caps made from glassfibre enforced polyamide (PA6 GF) featuring the following improvements:

• Compared to polypropylene, PA6 GF is harder and therefore allows a better tightening torque and leak tightness
• The PTFE liner is only inserted instead of glued in
• Temperature stable up to 150 °C when used with silicone/PTFE liner
• Improved material durability at low temperature, tested to -20 °C
• Caps can undergo a clean room process
