Vials for optimized microsampling

The 250 µl insert of the iV2µ-Vial is integrated into the body of a 1.5 ml vial. The insert itself is closed with the cap. Because of the directly closed insert, sample vapour cannot escape into the hollow space between vial and insert when working with volatile samples.

The insert is long and narrow tapered. That allows the use with side-hole needle syringes and smallest sample volumes of a few microlitres.

pp-Pure Vial - polypropylene vial for aqueous samples, proteines or peptides

For aqueous samples, proteines or peptides

Vials for optimized microsampling

Large molecules such as peptides and proteins are likely to be adsorbed on a glass surface. When working with such samples, polymer vials may be used instead of silanised glass vials.

Please note:
We use unplasticised polypropylene for our vials. The polypropylene is pressed into the vial form and shrinks in the cooling process. If we used a plasticised polypropylene, we could just press some more polypropylene into the form to fill the resulting small gaps. The polypropylene we use does not allow this so that small vacuum bubbles occur. These are only a blemish and a proof for the purity of the used polypropylene.
