Hyaluronsäure glättet Falten

Hyaluronsäure wird unter anderem für die Glättung von Falten und das Füllen von Lippen eingesetzt. Hyaluronsäure ist eine makromolekulare Kette aus Dissacchariden und da gewisse Kettenlängen je nach Anwendung bessere Resultate zeigen, muss die Grösse bestimmt werden. Dies gelingt mit einer Zuckersäule von Shodex des Typs KS mittels SEC.

Le Hyaluronan est connu comme composé injecté dans l'épiderme, pour réduire les rides ou remplir les lèvres. Le Hyaluronan est une chaine macromoléculaire de disacharides. Comme selon les applications, certaines chaînes montrent de meilleurs résultats, ainsi, la longueur de chaîne doit être définie. Cela est possible avec les colonnes Shodex de type KS pour SEC

Hyaluronic Acid smoothes out wrinkles

Hyaluronan is also used to smooth out wrinkles and to fill lips. Hyaluronic Acid is a molecular chain of Dissaccharides and as some chainlenghts show better results than others, the lenght has to be defined. This is possible with a Shodex SUGAR KS Column for SEC.

Das vor knapp einem Jahr neu vorgestellte Mikrovial iV2µ für die Arbeit mit sehr kleinen Volumina oder volatilen Proben hat sich im Laboralltag bewährt und wir haben nun die Produktepalette mit der "HP" Schraubgewinde Version abgerundet.

Besonders gelobt wird das neue Mikrovial beim Einsatz mit volatilen Proben, wenn die Probe längere Zeit im Kühlschrank aufbewahrt werden soll oder für Mikroreaktionen wenn die Probe geschüttelt werden muss.

Le macrovial iV2µ pour les échantillons de très faible volume ou volatils que nous avons introduit il y a un an a prouvé sa valeur dans le quotidien du laboratoire. Par conséquent, nous avons complété notre gamme avec une version « HP » compatible à tête vissable de notre iV2µ.

Robust Macrovial iV2µ
now also available with screw top

The Macrovial iV2µ for very small sample volumes or volatile samples that we introduced about a year ago has proved its worth in the day to day laboratory work so that we added an “HP” screw top version of the iV2µ to our product line.

The iV2µ-Vial is especially favoured when volatile samples have to be stored in the fridge over an extended period of time or for microreactions where the sample is shaken.

MEPS: automatisiertes Angeln nach Substanzen

Das MEPS System von SGE funktioniert wie eine SPE aber im Mikrobereich und ist direkt in die Nadel einer Mikroliterspritze integriert. Eingesetzt in einen programmierbaren Sampler wie zum Beispiel den CTC kann so die Probenvorbereitung voll automatisiert werden und die gereinigte Probe direkt ohne zusätzliches Handling in die Chromatograpghie injeziert werden.

Lorsqu’ utilisés dans un autosampler programmable, comme les CTC par exemple, la préparation des échantillons peut être pleinement automatisée, et l’extrait peut être directement injecté dans le système chromatographique, sans concentration supplémentaire de l’échantillon.

MEPS: automated fishing for substances

The MEPS System from SGE is a miniaturized version of SPE where the SPE cartridge is incorperated into the needle of a microlitre syringe.  If used in a programmable sampler like the CTC for example, sample preparation can be fully automated and the extract can be directly injected into the chromatograpic system without any further concentration of the sample.

Umweltbericht der Schweiz und Sonnencrème

Vor kurzem wurde der Umweltbericht der Schweiz veröffentlicht. Bevor dieser jedoch zusammengestellt werden kann, müssen die Daten erfasst werden und dazu gehört das Sammeln von repräsentativen Proben und deren Analyse, sehr oft mittels Chromatografie.

Der Einsatz von Passivsammlern und einer HALO Säule wird Anhand zweier Beispiele aus der Praxis vorgestellt.

Environmental Report of Switzerland and sun tan lotion

Recently, Switzerland published it's latest environmental report. However before the environmental report could be published, data had to be collected which involves the collection of representative samples and their analysis often by means of Chromatography.

The use of collection disks and a HALO column is presented by means of two customer applications.

manchmal sind es die kleinen Dinge, die einen wichtigen Anteil am Erfolg unserer Arbeit haben. So z. Bsp. Standard Caps mit Gummi/PTFE Septum. Denn auch diese sollten für Routine Analysen die nötige Reinheit aufweisen und innerhalb der geforderten Toleranz gefertigt sein. Wir haben festgestellt, dass die preisgünstigsten Varianten nicht unbedingt den Qualitätsansprüchen unserer Kunden entsprechen.

So sind auch unsere Standard Caps sind in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Interlaber Belp auf extrahierbare Substanzen getestet. Neu werden sie für das einfache Handling im Labor in einer klaren PET Box geliefert.

Parfois c'est les petites choses.....

Par conséquent nos capsules standard sont - en coopération avec Interlabor Belp - testé pour des substances qui s'extraits. Pour une manipulation plus facile dans le laboratoire ils sont maintenant fournies dans des boîtes claires à bouchon vissé.

Sometimes it's the small things .....

Sometimes it’s the small things which are an important piece in the success of our work. For example standard crimp caps with Rubber/PTFE septa. Even when used "just" for routine analysis these have to have the necessary purity and should be produced within the required tolerances. We found out that the cheapest varieties dont' always satisfy the quality requirements of our customers.

Therefore our standard caps are tested for extractables in cooperation with Interlabor Belp. For an easier handling in the laboratory they are now supplied clear PET boxes.

Micro flacon iV2µ pour les plus petites echantillons

Le nouveau flacon iV2µ-Vial que nous avons présentée il y a une année a fait ses preuves dans la routine quotidienne de laboratoire en travaillant avec de petits volumes et échantillons volatils. Comme l'insert est fermé directement avec le capsule, le iV2µ-Vial peut être utilisé avec avec les echantillons volatiles, quand l‘échantillon est stocké dans le réfrigérateur sur une période prolongée, pour des microréactions quand l‘échantillon doit être secoué.

Le iV2µ-Vial est disponibles pour les capsules à sertir et pour capsules-pression.

The new iV2µ- Vial that we introduced about a year ago has proven its usefulnes in the daily lab routine when working with small volumes and volatile samples. As the insert is directly closed with the cap the iV2µ Vial can be used with with volatile samples, when samples are stored in the fridge over an extended period of time and for microreactions when the sample has to be shaken.

The iV2µ-Vial is available with Crimp or Snap/Crimp top.

Flaschen und Gläser für alle Probenbedürfnisse von 6 ml bis 4000 ml auch für sperrige Proben wie Feststoffe. Dazu geschlossene Deckel mit PTFE Einlage. Für die Analyse von volatilen Komponenten können auch Kappen mit Durchstichöffnung bezogen werden, so dass die Probe direkt analysiert werden kann.

Bouteilles et fioles pour tous besoins d'échantillons de 6 ml à 4000 ml également pour des échantillons solides. Fournit avec des bouchons à vis inertes fermé avec un septum en PTFE. Pour l'analyse des composants volatils, il y a des bouchons à trous et un septum Silicon/PTFE qui permettent l’analyse directs de l'échantillon.

Bottles and Jars for all sample needs from 6 ml to 4000 ml also for solid sample. They come with inert closed-top screw caps with PTFE liner. For the analysis of volatile components, there are open-top screw caps which allow the direct analyis of the sample.

Verkehrte HPLC Welt oder Trennen mit ZIC-Hilic

Die HILIC Phasen retardieren Substanzen streng nach ihrer Polarität praktisch unabhängig von Ihrer Masse und so können Trennprobleme gelöst werden, die bis anhin ausserhalb der Möglichkeiten der klassischen Reversed Phase (RP) Chromatographie waren.

Da Wasser das stärkste Elutionsmittel ist, Separationen beginnen klassisch mit hohen Acetonitril Anteilen, ist die ZIC_Hilic prädestiniert um schwierige Applikationen für RP-AQ Säulen zu optimieren.

HPLC renversée ou la séparation avec ZIC-Hilic

Les phases HILIC retardent des substances strictement selon leur polarité pratiquement indépendant de leur masse. Ceci signifie qu'on peut résoudre des problèmes de séperation qui jusqu'ici ont été au delà des possibilités de la chromatographie à phase inverse classique.

Comme l'eau est la substance d'élution la plus forte, séperation commence classiquement par une grande quantité d'acétonitrile, le ZIC-Hilic est faite pour optimiser les applications qui sont difficiles pour des colonnes de RP-AQ.

HILIC phases retard substances strictly according to their polarity virtually independent from their mass thus allowing seperations which so far have been beyond the possibilities of classical Reversed Phase (RP) Chromatography.

Since water is the strongest elution substance, seperation starts classically with a large quantity of acetonitrile, the ZIC-Hilic is made to optimize applications that are difficult for RP-AQ columns.
