20 mm magnetic Caps for CTC/Leap Headspace Sampler

The CTC Headspace Sampler requires magnetic Caps for the transport of the Vials to the thermo block.
Two types of caps are on offer:

Magnetic composite Alucrimp Caps

Composite Alucrimp Caps are composed of an aluminium skirt with a magnetic central disk. They crimp easily and with more reproducible results than magnetic Crimp Caps from tin plate.

Magnetic tinplate Crimp Caps

Tinplate is relatively hard, which makes reproducible crimping with a hand crimper relatively difficult. Therefore we recommend the use of a Crimp Station.

20 mm magnetic composite Alucrimp Caps with non-pigmented ms-Pure Silicone/PTFE Septum

The ms-Pure non-pigment Silicone/PTFE Septum is a septum from natural pigment free silicone and natural PTFE that proved 60 % cleaner than „standard“ silicone/PTFE septum from competitors. With the increasing sensitivity of GC‘s and HPLC‘s there is an increased need for low bleed septum material to reduce the potential for sample error and to improve overall reliability.
